Warning of Misbehavior - ON and OFF the field in league matches
I would like to inform all the clubs regarding the BTCL disciplinary committee’s recent decision.
BTCL have received the umpire's match report related to Team A Vs Team B played on 1st May 2011 ( The respective Teams’ and players identity is kept confidential due to the privacy and confidentiality purposes) which recorded serious concerns about the players’ behavior and argument with umpire on and off the field by both team players. Our committee recognized this incident was profoundly serious and harmful to our league and its prospect. The Emergency Committee meeting was called to discuss this serious matter on 6th May 2011.
The following actions and decisions were made.
For All Teams Scorecard Home teams’ should be uploaded the scorecard (Electronic Version) before Tuesday midnight. Fail to submit will result the deduction of the team points. The both teams should be uploaded the both innings score cards from our website score card upload section. And you are required to fill all the team players names, batting and bowling performances (Please note now we have changed to full name version for your convenience) Ground The home teams should ensure that their ground is ready with playable condition according to our league’s requirement (with regards of the division). And if umpire recognised that the particular ground is in unplayable condition, the particular match will be awarded to away team. (Any natural reasons will be considered by umpire) Photo From next week we will updated our website with weekly league’s action photos. We are requesting all the clubs to send the photos to our email and few selected photos will be updated in our website in weekly basis. Over Rates Just a quick reminder. Please keep your timings for over rates by the fielding team.
